Beaumont Health System plans to build an $18 million, 80,000-square-foot neuroscience center on its Royal Oak, Mich., campus, according to The Detroit News. The neuroscience center is set to be completed in 2013, and will feature a three-story structure to consolidate Beaumont's neurological services and make room for student medical offices.

The first two floors will house a craniofacial clinic and services for patients with strokes, concussions, Alzheimer's or neurological disorders. The third floor will be unfinished to lease to private physicians.
