James Andres, MD, founder of Andrews Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla., completed a positive study on IntelliSkin, a performance enhancing apparel brand.
The technology was developed by Tim Brown, MD, creator of IntelliSkin. The study included young male pitchers between 15 years and 25 years of age. The pitchers wore the IntelliSkin Foundation shirt while practicing and reported throwing faster with less fatigue. They also reported reduced arm and shoulder pain while pitching.
In addition, the pitchers were able to throw one mile per hour faster when wearing the shirt for up to 60 pitches.
