Richard Steadman, MD, founder of The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., will perform knee surgery on Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio, according to a Fox Sports North report.
Mr. Rubio injured his knee while playing a game last week. Dr. Steadman will perform reconstructive surgery for a torn ACL on his left knee. Mr. Rubio is expected to sit out the rest of the season to recover from the injury.
