Xavier Durlande, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic in Atlanta, recently performed surgery on Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford to repair a torn left pectoral muscle, according to a Sports Illustrated report.
Hawks team physicians Michael Bernot, MD, and Ashok Reddy, MD, assisted during the procedure. Mr. Horford was injured during a game earlier this month and is expected to spend three to four months recovering from the surgery.
