Holland Hospital in Michigan has proposed a $10 million expansion to meet an anticipated 20 percent growth in orthopedics over the next five to 10 years, according to a Holland Sentinel report.
The 23,400-square-foot addition is also designed to meet current and future demand for private rooms. The project would convert 24 of the hospital's semi-private rooms to private rooms in the new space. If approved, the project would begin in early July and would be completed in roughly 11 months.
