Practice Management

Utah Orthopaedics, a Salt Lake City-based orthopedic practice, recently completed construction on a new office building in Ogden, Utah, according to a practice news release. The new 30,000-square-foot clinic includes a digital x-ray imaging suite, orthopedic device production space, casting rooms, procedure and exam spaces and offices. The facility has received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum certification, and is the first medical office in the Rocky Mountain West to do so.

To achieve LEED certification, the facility has design elements such as high-efficiency lighting, a photovoltaic electrical system, a variable refrigerant flow system, solar hot water and effective day lighting strategies.
