LDR, an Austin, Texas-based spine device company, has received FDA clearance to market its ROI-A Oblique ALIF cage, according to an LDR news release.
The cage can be used with the company's VertBRIDGE plating technology for stand-alone lumbar fusion to reduce the need for additional anterior or posterior instrumentation. The ROI-A Oblique system also minimizes the mobilization of anterior vessels.
The cage and plating technology are delivered in the plane of the disc through a direct anterolateral approach to minimize exposure.
