Zimmer recently announced it would be moving part of its distribution center from Warsaw, Ind., to Memphis, Tenn., according to a WSBT news report.
The company may also move some of its 120-130 employees at the Warsaw site to Memphis. The transition is scheduled for sometime during the third quarter of 2012.
According to the report, the company will use the cost savings from this move to offset costs associated with the federal medical device excise tax beginning in 2013.
