DJO Global has reported $284.1 million in fourth quarter net sales, a 13.7 percent growth over the same period last year, according to a company news release.
In its preliminary sales report, DJO also announced full year 2011 sales of $1 billion, which is the first time the company's yearly sales have surpassed the $1 billion mark. The 2011 net sales represent an 11.3 percent increase over 2010 net sales.
The company's success can be attributed to the addition of recently acquired businesses, such as Elastic Therapy, Circle City Medical and Dr. Comfort. The preliminary report also shows a 4.9 percent growth in the surgical implant business segment.
