Stryker announced the findings of a National Joint Registry of England and Wales study, which reported that Stryker's Triathlon Knee System outperformed other knee implants in terms of revision rates, according to a company news release.
The data showed that there was a 24 percent lower wear rate compared to other knee implants. Patients who received the implant showed the lowest rate of revision at the three-year follow-up when compared with other frequently used knee systems.
The Triathlon Knee System uses a single-radius design to promote stability and can be combined with the company's X3 advanced bearing technology.
