The Steadman Clinic Surgeons Present Research at International Hip Arthroscopy Meeting

Researchers from The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., have traveled to Paris for the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy meeting to present their research into the causes, prevention and treatment of hip disorders, according to a practice news release. Marc Philippon, MD, director of hip research at SPRI and founding member of ISHA will participated in debates on advanced hip arthroscopy and labral reconstruction as well as treatment of the iliopsoas.

William Rodkey, MD, chief scientific officer and director of basic science research at SPRI presented his paper on bone marrow-derived culture-expanded mesenchymal stem cells used in conjunction with microfracture for the treatment of chondral lesions. His research was performed in an equine model.
