Keith Heier, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Metrocrest Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Carrollton, Texas, has performed foot surgery on FC Dallas midfielder Brek Shea. Dr. Heier performed the procedure to remove a bone from Mr. Shea's right foot. Mr. Shea is expected to be out of play for up to 14 weeks.
