Robert Anderson, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., will perform ankle surgery on New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, according to a New York Times report. Mr. Jeter fractured his left ankle during a game against the Detroit Tigers last Saturday. He is likely to return in four to five months.
