Oakland Athletics' third baseman Brandon Inge will undergo shoulder surgery, which will take him out for the remainder of the season, according to a Washington Post report. Stephen Lemos, MD, an orthopedic and sports medicine physician at DMC Sports Medicine-Warren in Warren, Mich., will perform the procedure. Mr. Inge is expected to be back in time for spring training.
