Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center and Baptist Health Systems, both in Jackson, Miss., have partnered to build a sports performance center, according to a Madison County Herald report. The $16 million facility will include a fitness facility and a sports performance training center. Healthcare providers will offer training as well as strength and conditioning for youth athletes and professional athletes alike.
Construction is slated to begin in October with plans to open by next August.
