The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins will team up to build a sports performance center and practice ring in Cranberry, Pa., according to a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report. The 150,000-square-foot facility will mirror the sports performance center UPMC and the Pittsburgh Steelers built together. The center will provide sports medicine services and training for hockey players. It will also serve several purposes for the Penguins, including training camp.
