Lewis Yocum, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, recently performed shoulder surgery on Phoenix Suns forward Channing Frye, according to an NBA report. Mr. Frye injured his shoulder during a game last month and opted for surgery after Suns orthopedic surgeon Thomas Carter, MD, recommended Dr. Yocum for the procedure. He will now spend time recovering from surgery.
