Yankees Pitcher Joba Chamberlain Undergoes Ankles Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa

Surgeons at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa recently performed ankle surgery on New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain, according to a Bloomberg Businessweek news report. Mr. Chamberlain injured his ankle while playing on a trampoline with his son, according to the report. After the surgery to repair Mr. Chamberlain's open fracture, he stayed at the hospital for three days. He will remain in a cast for six weeks. Currently, there is no timetable for his return, according to the report.
