David Fischer, MD, team physician for the Minnesota Timberwolves, recently performed knee surgery on guard Malcolm Lee, according to a Fox Sports Network report.
Dr. Fischer performed the meniscal repair at TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Minneapolis. This was the second surgery performed on Mr. Lee's left knee; the first was repairing a cartilage tear and removing loose bodies. Mr. Lee will likely spend six weeks recovering from the injury.
