The Longstreet Clinic in Gainesville, Ga., recently opened the new Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine office in Buford, Ga., according to a Longstreet Clinic news release.
Amy E. Borrow, MD, and Stephen R. Fisher will move their Gainesville-based practices to the new location. Dr. Borrow is an orthopedic sports medicine specialist and a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. She earned her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She also completed a fellowship in sports medicine tat the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala.
Dr. Fischer is an orthopedic sports medicine physician and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wayne State University—Detroit Medical Center. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at Lake Tahoe (Nev.) Orthopaedic Institute.
