Drs. Edward Zampella, Jonathan Baskin, Jay Young Chun Join Summit Medical Group

Summit Medical Group in New Jersey has added three neurosurgeons to its Spine Center, according to the Independent Press. Edward Zampella, MD, Jonathan Baskin, MD, and Jay Young Chun, MD, will join the Summit medical staff.

Dr. Zampella is also the president of the medical staff and attending neurosurgeon at Summit's Overlook Medical Center. He is board-certified in neurological surgery and pain management. His expertise includes functional, restorative and stereotactic neurosurgery.

Dr. Baskin is a neurosurgeon with Atlantic Neurosurgical Specialists, and his expertise includes complex spine surgery, tumors and minimally invasive techniques for spinal decompression and fracture stabilization. He completed his residency and clinical spine fellowship in neurological surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.

Dr. Chun is the director for neurotrauma at Morristown Memorial Medical Center. He specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of California San Francisco and a complex spine fellowship at the Emory Clinic in Atlanta.
