Beaumont Health System is planning an $18 million, 80,000-square-foot neuroscience center on its Royal Oak, Mich., campus that is slated for completion in 2013 and will consolidate the hospital's neurological services.

Cleveland Clinic announced earlier this summer that it will offer stereotactic spine radiosurgery for treating metastases located on the spine.

Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colo., has proposed a $909 million expansion of its spinal cord and brain injury facilities.
