Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Craig Rabb of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine

Craig Rabb, MD, is a professor in the department of neurosurgery at the University of Oklahoma's College of Medicine. He is also the director of the neurotrauma program. Dr. Rabb's clinical interests include traumatic brain injuries, spine trauma, spine surgery and deep brain stimulation. He treats both brain and spinal conditions.

He has authored more than 50 publications and book chapters in neurosurgical literature. He is currently the associate editor of The Spine Journal and associate section editor of Neurosurgery. He is also a member of the ethics committees of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Rabb received his medical degree from UO College of Medicine and completed a residency in neurological surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He completed an American-Scandinavian Foundation fellowship at the University of Lund in Sweden at the Laboratory for Experimental Brain Research.
