Kristie Kim, MD, of the Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute in Freehold, N.J., has become a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine, according to a report by the Asbury Park Press.
As a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine, Dr. Kim is now a board-certified physician in pain medicine. To earn this title, she passed an examination and completed a credentialing process. She is also a board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Acupuncture.
Dr. Kim joined the medical team of orthopedic surgeons at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute in March as a psychiatrist. She focuses her practice on restoring function to people who have a wide-range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
