Pain Management

Somatic Movement Center is currently engaged in a pilot study to research the efficacy of Clinical Somatic Education for patients suffering from scoliosis. Clinical Somatic Education is a gentle neuromuscular re-education technique which releases involuntary chronic muscle contraction designed to pull the spine out of alignment. The pilot study is currently engaging volunteers with idiopathic or degenerative scoliosis to receive free 60 to 90 minutes sessions once per week for four weeks.
