Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, S.C., is the first hospital in the state to integrate Medication on Demand into the pain management process, according to a report from The Times and Democrat. The FDA-approved device is designed for hospital patients to receive their medication on a timely basis and keep their pain under control. Patients have access to a single dose of the medication at prescribed intervals.
