Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, N.Y., announced the opening of Joint Solutions, a center for orthopedic replacement surgery. The Joint Solutions Center is staffed by the hospital's orthopedic surgeons, including program director and chief of orthopedics, Stephen Zelicof, MD, PhD.
The facility includes a rehabilitation center and focuses on informative personal care — in which providers prepare patients for the facts of their upcoming procedure and address any concerns — and recovery techniques, according to the release.
