K2M has announced two new cervical spine products, which will debut this week at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons in Washington, DC, according to a K2M news release.
The company will have the CHESAPEAKE Cervical-Ti Stabilization System and PYRENEES Translational Cervical Plate available at the meeting. The CHESAPEAKE is a multi-screw construct designed to provide stability to the anterior column while also reducing the need for supplemental fixation of the cervical spine.
The addition to the PYRENEES Cervical Plate Systems is designed with an unidirectional ratchet mechanism at each level, which allows for increased control over the patients' anatomy.
