Pioneer Surgical Technology's nanOss cervical cage has been successfully implanted into a human in Europe, according to a company news release.
The nanOss cervical cage is a new interbody spacer machined from robust nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite. The device is designed for use during surgical intervention for cervical disc disease. The implantation marks the company's first expansion into Europe.
