Stryker to Conduct OrthoSensor Knee Trial With Triathlon Knee

Spinal Tech

Stryker's Orthopaedics Division has entered into an agreement with OrthoSensor on the OrthoSensor Knee Trial, which is designed for use with Stryker's Triathlon Knee System, according to an OrthoSensor news release. The OrthoSensor Knee Trial is an intelligent trail designed to provide quantitative, intra-operative feedback, allowing surgeons to balance the joint during total knee arthroplasty. The Trial embeds micro-electronics and sensors in single-sue trial inserts to deliver data about the final ligament balance and joint kinematics specific to the patient's knee. The information is wirelessly transmitted for real-time feedback.

The Triathlon Knee System is designed for ligament balancing procedures.
