Integra LifeSciences, a Plainsboro, N.J.-based orthopedic device company, has launched its Zuma-C Anterior Cervical Fixation System on the global market, according to a company news release.
The system is indicated for use during anterior cervical discectomy and fusions for patients with herniated discs or degenerative disc disease in the cervical spine. The system features a short articulating plate which allows for optimal screw placement in the bone and provides a favorable biomechanical environment.
