ArthroCare reported total revenue of $92.4 million during the fourth quarter of 2011, a slight decrease from the $92.6 million reported for the fourth quarter of 2010, according to a company news release.
International product sales declined 3.6 percent in the fourth quarter. American sports medicine sales decreased by 3.4 percent, offsetting the 1.3 percent increase in sports medicine sales worldwide. For the full year, ArthroCare reported total revenue of $345.9 million, a decrease from the $355.4 million reported in 2010. American sports medicine sales also decreased for the full year report.
Spine product sales also declined last year.
