SI-BONE, has received a patent for broad method claims related to the iFuse Implant System, according to a company news release.
SI-BONE focuses on minimally invasive surgery for sacroiliac joint conditions. The new patent includes a breadth of method claims, such as placing the elongated device across a joint form one bone to another, using a guide wire to place the implant, using a device that is rectilinear in cross-section and having an exterior surface for bony in-growth.
