DJO Global recently elected Mike S. Zafirovski as non-executive chairman of its board of directors and John R. Murphy as director of the company, according to a DJO Global news release.
Mr. Zafirovski will succeed Les Cross as chairman, but Mr. Cross will remain a member of the board. Mr. Zafirovski also serves on the boards of Boeing and Apria Healthcare Services and previously was the director, president and CEO of Nortel Networks and Motorola.
In addition to his new position as director of the company, Mr. Murphy will also serve as chairman of the Global Audit Committee. He is currently on the board of directors for O'Reilly Automotive. His previous positions include senior vice president and CFO of Smurfit-Stone Container and CEO of Accuride.
