RSB Spine Announces 145% Sales Increase in Q1

Spinal Tech

RSB Spine, a medical device company focused on developing modular fusion products for degenerative disc disease, has announced a 145 percent sales increase for the first quarter of 2011 compared to Q1 2010, according to a company news release.

Earlier this year, RSB Spine reported a 97 percent sales increase for fiscal year 2010 compared to FY 2009. Its continued sales growth can be attributed to its InterPlate platform, which is a load-bearing spinal implant that allows 1.8 mm of graft loading without stress shielding. The product allows surgeons to select the flush-fit interbody construct they want and to determine how that construct will behave, according to the release.
