Benvenue Medical, a developer of minimally invasive solutions for spine repair, has completed enrollment for clinical trials of its Kiva Vertebral Compression Fracture Treatment System. The trial will focus on evaluating the Kiva System against Medtronic's Kyphon Balloon Kyphoplasty. The trial enrolled 300 patients and is being conducted to support a subsequent 510(k) filing for market clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
