Stryker Recalls Two Metal Hip Implants

Orthopedic device giant Stryker has voluntarily recalled a pair of metal hip implants, its Rejuvenate and ABG II modular-neck stems. Stryker has recalled the two products, "given the potential risks associated with fretting and corrosion at the modular neck junction," according to the news release. In addition to the recall, the company will cease global distribution of the products.
