Spinal Tech

The Biomet Sports Medicine Mobile Learning Center will soon travel to hospitals and surgery centers around the United States, providing orthopedic surgeons and support staff with demonstrations on Biomet products, according to company news release.

The center includes hands-on demonstrations, flat screen televisions that show animations and surgical procedures, and knee and shoulder models for use with arthroscopic cameras, according to a Warsaw, Ind., Times-Union article.

Biomet recently released two new products which coincide with the mobile center's launching. The JuggerKnot uses suture anchor technology and the InnerVue II is a diagnostic scope system. Arthritic patients are also able to receive demonstrations and information using the mobile center.

The Biomet Sports Medicine Mobile Center will be on display at the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine in Providence, R.I., until July 18. The center will travel for the following month.
