Hospital for Surgery in New York City has received the Gold Award for Best Mobile Communications from the Healthcare Leadership Awards at the Healthcare Internet Conference for its mobile app, according to a Norwalk Plus news report.
The app allows people to learn about orthopedic conditions, find physicians, make appointments and access directions to the hospital. The app has been downloaded more than 2,400 times to date.
