Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Andrej Meszaros underwent foot surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon, according to a local CBS report. Steve Raikin, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at The Rothman Institute, performed the procedure at Jefferson Hospital. Mr. Meszaros incurred the injury during summer training and will be out indefinitely, according to the report.
