Team physician for the New Jersey Nets Riley Williams, III, MD, recently performed surgery to stabilize a fracture in Nets center Brooke Lopez’s right foot, according to an ESPN news report.
Mr. Lopez suffered a non-displaced stress fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot, which Dr. Williams stabilized at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Mr. Lopez is expected to return to play in six to eight weeks.
