Christopher Chaput, MD, is a spine surgeon and the director of orthopedic research at Temple, Texas-based Scott & White Healthcare. He's also an assistant professor of surgery at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Dr. Christopher Chaput, spine surgeon at Scott & White HealthcareHis patient care emphasis includes degenerative disease disorders of the thoracic spine, disorders of the cervical spine, lumbar trauma, minimally invasive procedures in the cervical spine, motion preservation and disc replacement in the cervical spine.

Dr. Chaput received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed a rotating internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at Texas A&M University. He completed at spine surgery fellowship at The Maryland Spine Fellowship.

He's a member of the Cervical Spine Research Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, North American Spine Society, Texas Medical Association, Bell County Medical Association and American Medical Association.
