10 Foot and Ankle Surgeons on the Move

Here are 10 foot and ankle surgeons and specialists on the move in 2011. Foot and ankle specialist Michael Campbell, MD, recently joined Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists in Chesapeake, Va. He completed his fellowship at Penn State Milton Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center.

Great River Orthopedic Specialists in West Burlington, Iowa, recently welcomed Nathan Gause, MD. He earned his fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Tennessee.

After leaving North Hawaii Community Hospital to run his own practice in Wyoming, Doug Hiller, MD, returned to NHCH earlier this year. He has a professional interest in sports medicine and foot and ankle care, having completed his fellowship in foot surgery at Campbell Foundation in Memphis.

Foot and ankle surgeon O.B. Idusuyi, MD, recently joined St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill.

Orthopedic Specialists of Southwest Florida recently welcomed Jason Nemitz, MD, to the practice. He completed his fellowship at the Michigan International Foot and Ankle Center.

David Pedowitz, MD, recently joined Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and completed his fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the Oakland (Calif.) Bone and Joint Institute.

Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics welcomed Sourendra Raut, MD, earlier this year. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and completed his foot and ankle reconstruction fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Dayton (Ohio) Children's Orthopedic Center recently welcomed Craig Shank, MD. He has a professional interest in pediatric trauma, hip disease and foot and ankle deformity. He completed his fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Earlier this year, Michael K. Shindle, MD, joined Summit Medical Group in Berkeley Heights, N.J. He has a professional interest in sports-related injuries as well as foot and ankle care. He completed his foot and ankle fellowship in Oakland, Calif.

Hope Orthopedics of Salem, Ore., recently added Monica Zilkoski, MD. She completed her fellowship in the foot and ankle training program at Harborview Medical Center as part of a program at the University of Washington in Seattle.
