Plaintiffs in a Delaware court case want Johnson & Johnson CEO Alex Gorsky to testify in a lawsuit over the medical device company's recalled DePuy ASR hip implant, according to a Mass Device report. The plaintiffs allege Mr. Gorsky's involvement in the testing, marketing and August 2010 recall of the hip implant could "lead to the discovery of admissible evidence." Johnson & Johnson said Mr. Gorsky's deposition would not be necessary since the company has made 43 witnesses, including eight former and current DePuy executives, and documents available for the case.
