Publications
Becker's ASC Review. Becker's ASC Review features general business, legal and clinical guidance on topics relevant to outpatient surgery including joint-ventures, development and expansion, and regulatory and compliance issues; as well as analysis and insight for specialties including bariatrics, orthopedics and spine, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, ENT and anesthesiology. Each of the nine annual issues of the publication reaches a qualified audience of more than 25,000 key ASC leaders, including surgeons, medical directors, directors of surgery and ASC administrators. Further, every ASC in the nation receives Becker's ASC Review.
Becker's Spine Review. Becker's Spine Review features news and analysis on business and legal issues relating to spine practices. Each issue of the quarterly publication reaches a qualified audience of approximately 12,500 key spine practice decision-makers including surgeons and spine practice administrators.
Becker's Infection Control & Clinical Quality. Becker's Infection Control & Clinical Quality provides guidance and analysis on clinical quality, patient safety, infection control and accreditation issues. Becker's Hospital Review. Becker's Hospital Review features up-to-date business and legal news and analysis relating to hospitals and health systems. Becker's Orthopedic Review E-weekly. This e-newsletter (sent Monday-Friday) focuses on covering both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic surgery trends. Conferences
ASC Conferences. Becker's Healthcare/ASC Communications also hosts two conference in Chicago, one in October that focuses on ASC development and profits, and one in June the focuses on orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery and pain management in ASCs. Each event offers CME credits and brings 500-600 attendees, including physicians who either own surgery centers or are considering developing or investing in surgery centers. In addition, numerous companies take advantage of exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities. With these conferences, ASC Communications provides the ideal opportunity for CEOs and the senior leadership of the largest and most successful ASC companies to come together with surgeons, administrators and owners of ASCs.
Hospital and Health System CEO Strategy Roundtable. The CEO Strategy Roundtable event takes place each November and features a roundtable of 10-plus hospital and health system CEOs to discuss strategy, challenges and opportunities. The 2013 event is scheduled for Nov. 14th in Chicago.
Becker's Hospital Review Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting occurs each spring and brings together hundreds and hospital and health system leaders for networking and educational opportunities. The 5th Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 15-17, 2014, in Chicago. The event will feature industry leaders speaking on key business issues for hospitals and health systems. Keynote speakers include Delos "Toby" Cosgrove, MD, president and CEO Cleveland Clinic, Forrest Sawyer, former television news Anchor for ABC, CBS, and MSNBC, and Joe Torre, Major League Baseball executive and former manager and player.

She was editor-in-chief of The Knox Student, which received the General Excellence Award for non-dailies with school enrollment less than 4,000 from the Illinois College Press Association.
